"I cannot rate the treatment and standard of professionalism highly enough. I have been a private dental patient with a Harley Street Dentist and my experience at Trident surpassed anything I encountered in London. The surgery is small and busy; the staff are cheerful and friendly. Questions are answered patiently and directly. The surgery (for a tooth implant) was carried out swiftly and professionally and observed the highest standards of hygiene. Post-operatively I was required to call in for a brief daily check-up for three days and was provided with pain killers (if required) and an ice pack to help reduce swelling.
I was provided with a mobile number to call if I needed help at any time for any reason. From the moment of being collected at the airport until the time I was returned I felt completely taken care of.
Trident's apartments are basic but entirely adequate as I spent most of the time out enjoying the picturesque town and beaches. A perfect place to relax."

"I had an initial consulation with the Chief Dental Surgeon in the UK. I found him to be very open and accessible, he took the time to explain my options in detail as well as provide more information about the clinic. Two months later I started my treatment.
Great little clinic, clean, modern facilities and friendly staff. Time off work was a factor for me but they accommodated my needs and completed the both phases of my treatment quickly.

"I visited the clinc in October 2007 for a dental implants which would have been so costly in the UK. I emailed Trident and recieved recieved all the information I required, i had read up on the opperation and the surgeons responses gave me great confidnece. All I had to do was book a cheap flight I was collected from the airport and dropped taken to the accomodation arranged my the Dental Clinic.
I felt so much more confident in Trident then I did with my denist in the UK. Everything was explained to me in perfect English by all of the helpful staff in the Clinic. Everything was carried out perfectly in a fraction of the time and a fraction of the cost compared to the UK.
I would reccomend this service to all of my friend and family."

...even my husband (from my last appointment) was very impressed on the surgery/Croatia, he commented that it was probably better than our dentists in England!  
    "I had an implant done last year and am due to go back for my crown to be fitted in a couple of weeks.  I can't fault Trident for any of the work that have have done.  Everyone is very friendly and happy to help.  They have done a fantastic job so far and I have seen the end result on a couple of other patients and they are fantastic.  I also like the fact they they won't do any work on your teeth unless it is actually needed. 
      Croatia is a beautiful country and Rovinj is a very pretty town.  Tridents apartments are very clean and convenient to the surgery.  They are simple but you don't need a lot. They all have TV. and a full kitchen (apart from Croatians don't seem to have kettles!).  The surgery is very clean and sterile for the op. 
      I am not sure if you are aware but you can meet one of the surgerns in London (or Dublin).  I think they are in London 7th-9th May so you can see what they say before having to go to Croatia first.
      Definitely recommend going and you won't look back! Eve."

Hi Tommy,
I have had my top and bottom teeth done with 5 implants in the top and bridges and I can tell you they now look superb and I am absolutely delighted and confident to smile radiantly again.
I can assure you that I felt only discomfort on occasions but not pain I also had a swollen face after implantations but that soon went down within a few days You will be in the safest hands at Trident all the Doctors there are friendly english speaking and of the highest professional standard ,and the dental surgery is fantastic.
I have visited Croatia for this treatment 4 times. Starting last July (year 2007) and ending February this year (year 2008) once for 7 days, once for 10 days, twice for 14 days. I went there for the 14 days and the 10 days on my own. It is very safe to walk around on your own and very pretty around the coast line and in the small town it is also very clean.
The accommodation is self catering very basic but clean around 15 euros a night. You are met at a small airport in Pula or Trieste and taken back for your return flight this is around 10 euros a trip but may have gone up a little because of oil prices.
There are also a lot of restaurants to choose from which are not expensive .They will supply you with a mobile if you do not have one and a DVD. It was kind of different being away from family but I spoke to them everyday and I would suggest taking your lap top and a few books to pass the time if you are not feeling up to going out.
The price my daughter and myself were given did not change however I would advise to take the Stirling that you will require with you and the surgery will always give you the most favourable exchange. I found this to be the best procedure as getting your money through the bank was difficult.

"Hi There,
      I visited Rovinj on holiday last Summer and both my partner Andy and myself took the opportunity to get some dental work done during our stay.
      I had found Trident through the internet and was incredibly pleased and impressed with their service.
      I needed a lot of hygenist work and several fillings replaced which I had done over the course of a few days – in for treatment in the mornings and back on the beach shortly after.
      We were met at our hotel by someone from Trident who drove us to the surgery for our initial consultation.
      The dentist surgery itself was much like a good private dentist  here – The machinery and dentist rooms were very modern and most importantly the staff were very helpful, friendly and spoke good English. I am a nervous patient and the dentist who treated me really took this into consideration.
      I will definitely visit Trident again.
      After years of a mouth full of NHS amalgam fillings, seeing the new white filling replacements was like getting my teeth back again!
      Rovinj is so beautiful, make sure you take a few extra days for a holiday there at the same time!

Hi, I have had several trips to trident and introduced some of my friend that have also had some work done with them.
Dr. Goran is my surgeon. I had the lot, 4 implants, Sinus lift both sides, bone graft on both sides upper, not that painful and I am very happy with what they have done. They were very particular about the quotes and payment so the answer is "no hidden charges", makes a change doesn’t it!!
They are very well qualified and competent also very friendly, they put the British dentist to shame!! Quality is good as you get, I did a lot of research before finding Trident, the same crown etc. used in Switzerland and good EC countries and the USA.

"I have now completed my treatment which took three visits over six months and I have nothing but praise for the Trident team. They were welcoming, professional and efficient and the dental surgery was always spotless.
I went with a friend,who was also having treatment. I was glad of the company as in between appointments we were able to visit Rovinj (which is truly beautiful) and the surrounding areas.
The flat, supplied by Trident ,was comfortble and although there was a kitchen we chose to eat out as the food was good and so reasonably priced.
All in all an excellent experience that I would not hesitate to recommend."

"Having been told by my dentist in London that nothing could be done about the sensitive tooth which had a rootcanal done by a Harley Street dentist, but having it replaced by an implant and then a new bridge. He even thought it might be 2 implants but one with augmentation. I was given two names for enquieries. The prices quoted gave me a shock to say the least. I was looking at a sum close to £ 5000,00 and that did not even include the bridge.
The BBC was at the time doing a survey about dentistry abroad. I looked it up on the website and got in touch with a few, one of them Dr. Goran's clinic. I was given a few references and even spoke to a couple of his patients and they were all full of praise. A friend of mine, who needed major dental work done, was going to Croatia for holidays and I gave her Trident's address to check it out. She was very impressed and decided there and then to book herself in for treatment. That made me decide to follow suit and I have just come back from Rovinj where I underwent treatment done by Dr. Goran and Dr. Natasa.
During consultation Dr. Goran advised against implants but suggested redoing rootcanal treatment, cleaning out "pockets", and replacing bridge. To improve on sensitivity, he suggested changing the bridge on the bottom jaw so as to "cushion" the bite. I am having three crowns on the bottom left jaw replaced with a bridge. When I asked him why he did not advise to have implants, his answer made sense: "Why put in a foreign body when not necessary?"
In the past I have had very expensive dental treatment done in Singapore and London with far less confidence and satisfaction than in this instance. I cannot overstate my satisfaction and am "almost" looking forward to my follow-up treatment in January 2008.
We were in Rovinj for 5 days and I visited the clinic every day for treatments, but there was still plenty of time to get to know this idyllic town. I felt I was well looked after, from the moment of pick-up at the airport and the stay in the appartment. The beach is a mere 5 minutes' walk and the clinic no further than 10 minutes away. Rovinj is a charming place with a very relaxed atmosphere and restaurants and icecream parlours a plenty. If you need major dental treatment I highly recommend Dr. Goran Vukotic, who is as dedicated in dentistry as he is experienced in implantology.

I would happily recommend Trident. I didn't have implants but had a bridge with four units, a root canal filling and several ordinary fillings all of which were very successful and approximately a third of the cost of the same treatment in London. All the staff were extremely courteous and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to go there again.

"Hello,
Only back from Croatia two weeks. Yes, I will admit I've surfed the web not just for price, I wanted somewhere that I could get to easily and cheaply.
Well for once landed on ones feet without breaking them. Took the view if I got there and did not like at 75.00 return no big deal.
Well dental treatment was 100 per cent. My story. Don't yawn!
8 lots of antibiotics, nhs dentist / private dentist / referral to hospital twice 18 months!
Finally assessed that although top of mouth hurting I mean when it kicked off tears hence tablets. It was actually referre pain. So not actually coming from where hurting but from bridge that I had when I was 17yrs. Now 40.
Dr. Goran and dr. Natasa had me in every day. They took the bridge off and well the smell - yuk! Anyway the back tooth was gone, however they did manage to root canal this and built up. They treated it everyday.
I had a choice to have another bridge put on weakened tooth or to cap it off and go for implants longer term approx 500 sterling per implant.
O.k. Driven from u.k. by money ... Service was excellent. Implants took 45min's for two. Had worse fillings.
Accomodation was clean not 5 star. To be honest we were last to come to have been assured and seen better accomodation of there's. Would have like separate front room area and that basically is all I can moan about. My husband Say's well it must of been good. Accomodation 13.50 per person per night sterling.
One more thing you might be interested in is that Dr. Goran's dentist is built up with mostly a Italian cliente. Apparently they drive for fine hours from northen Italy and have a brak too. Again they are driven by price.
Would I go all that way for a filling. No but anything that entails more yes.
Dental practice impeccable as is all the dental surgeons and staff. Also the laboratory peaople are called in to check you out. Absolutely outstanding!
Kind regards and you don't need luck, no I'm not on commission just for once met people that do a good job not a job's worth.

...the teeth work well and I am able to eat most things as I used to when I was a teenager, I had forgotten how much I missed eating crunchy veg and toast, now they taste so very good.   
      "I have to say that I would recommend Trident for dental work, there were a few down sides, but the work they did on me was great.
      They were very careful to get colours right and fussy to make sure the bridge work was just right, and the implants are strong and easy to clean, he left space to get a little brush between.
      My teeth are able to handle most things now, and the only thing I still dont do is bite into an apple, that is because the front teeth are crowns from 20 years or more ago and I am a coward. 
      The down side is you wont understand what they chat about, while they work, they speak really good english, but chat between themselves in their own language, understandable I suppose, but I worried about what they might of found, I told you I am a coward.
      I have just had my check up, and all is well.  The other nice thing is the area, around where they do the treatments is lovely. Near the sea, and the town.  Nice place, nice people, the best thing I have done for  a long time, if I need more work, even though I now have found an NHS dentist, I think I would go back for them to do the work, and match up properly.  Good luck, and feel free to email anytime.  Liz Evans"
